What's Your Newest Revelation?

Oh, Ladies....has the Lord given you any new revelations, yet? I realize we just started this study but I want to know what you think. Anything you can share with us? Has God knocked your socks off yet or just spoken through a still, small voice.

The Lord spoke to me today through a new song. The words go something like this: "When I am restless, You are my rest, O God." Isn't that cool? It reminds me of the bible verse in Psalm, chapter 46, verse 10, where it says: "Be still and know that I am God."

Ok, so what about you? What new revelation can you share with us? Remember....we are supposed to ask the Lord to show us something new every day.....

Thanks for coming to Bible Study....I pray you will come back next week!

Okay - I'll be the first! Last night Janet challenged us to look for God each day and tell about it in the blog.

Every Monday and Thursday morning David brings Cassie to my house and she has time to take a nap and eat breakfast before I take her to school. On the way to school she gets to select a song to listen to and sing along. As we pulled out of the driveway this morning she made her selection and all the way to school I listened to my sweet Cassie singing along with "Let my actions match my passion for what my God has done. He's given me salvation through Jesus Christ, His Son. I believe in His authority and that He loves me, so I'll stand on His commands and let my action match my passion. I love the Lord my God with all my heart, my soul and my strength and with my mind I will love my neighbor as I love me...." and it repeats. I listened, I smiled and I watched my Cassie get out of the car, wave goodbye and skip lightly to the school building - she was still singing when she got out of the car. Today I watched Cassie and God go to school. As I drove away I wiped away a tear.

Oh, Wanda....that is GOOD! I ABSOLUTELY HEART THAT ONE!!

That reminds me of a scene I saw the other day that just about brought tears to my eyes. A mother walked her "middle school aged" daughter to the bus stop near my house. When the bus pulled up, the daughter gave her mother a hug, right there in front of the bus and everyone. How many middle-school aged kids do you know who would do that? It made me so happy.

I don't know about you all but I think this is going to be fun watching every day for where God reveals Himself to us....I'm so excited. I'm pumped! I think I'm going to go sing the words to that song Cassie was singing this morning!!!

AS I am trying to memorize our verse(Revelation 17:14), God reveal to me that no matter what I am facing today, that He had one Son on earth without sin, but never one without suffering, and Jesus knows all that I can endure because He has been there done that!! I can overcome, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings. Thank-you Lord!!

In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth and made the heavens with your hands. They will perish, but you remain forever. They will wear out like old clothing. You will fold them up like a cloak and discard them like old clothing. Hebrews 1:10-12

There's the slightest brush of chill in the air. A nudging reminder of the winter coats, the hats, the mittens packed away through the heat of summer.

They feel cozy and welcome on that first icy day. Symbols of autumn splendor, marching bands, and Christmas lights. A time of crunching leaves and softly blowing snow; a time of the quiet rest of the teeming world.

Yet, then comes the spring. And without a second glance they're all folded away; forgotten in the joys of the new life to come.

Our world, our life, everything that we know, will be folded away like that cloak in the back of the closet, forgetten in the excitement of the gift of a new life we can't even begin to imagine.
