From our house to yours.....wishing you a very blessed season!!
Just think of it - God came down to us -- Emmanuel (God-With-Us )!
God meets us right where we are. His presence means so much to me. I can't express how grateful I am that He never leaves us or forsakes us. I appreciate His "With-Us" quality.
At this time in my life I am thankful to have a Savior - one who forgives my many sins.
What about you? What are you glad about this Christmas Season?
Time is rushing by so fast this December. I'm afraid I won't get Christmas cards out this year, so I'm using this blog as a way of saying: "Have a blessed and holy Christmas season" to all my friends and family!! Love you guys!!!

Our Last Session on Revelation
It's hard to believe that we have come to our last session together on the book of Revelation. We have learned a lot and the Lord has been gracious in revealing things to us. Tonight's video is the last one in the Revelation series, but come back next week for a video I promised to share with you regarding Muslims who are having dreams and coming to Jesus. It's a very powerful video you won't want to miss entitled: "More Than Dreams." We will also be having dinner at 6:00 so come early and come hungry. Can't wait to see you tonight and hope to see you again next Wednesday, as well. Child care will be provided both nights.
P.S....We will be taking a break from our Women's Bible Study until the first of the year. However, there are several other opportunities for you. 1) The Pastor has a bible study every Wednesday evening at 7:00 where he is going through the books of the Bible. 2) Kevin Royal will be leading a Marriage Enrichment Seminar on Wed. Dec 1 from 6:30 to 8:00. Child care will be provided. Call the church office if you need more information or if you have any questions.
Have a blessed day!!

An Open Hand....
Ladies,
I don't know about you, but I really loved the illustration Beth used last night of having an open hand policy toward Jesus. We can give Him anything in our lives. He can handle it. He is worthy! Put it this way - if He is worthy enough to open the scroll with the 7 seals that is described in Revelation, then He is worthy enough to handle anything we may have in our hands. What's in your hand? What are you struggling with that you would be willing to hand over to Christ? It's such a 'freeing' feeling to think about. Can any of you give any examples of something you have handed over to Jesus that He has been more than able to take care of? Let's hear it! You can be an encouragement to someone today!!
Blessings,
Janet

What's Your Newest Revelation?
Dear Ladies,
I don't know about you but the Lord really spoke to me this week through the video and through His still, small voice. Have you remembered to ask the Lord for a fresh revelation every day? If so, what have some of your revelations been? What's the Lord been saying to you recently? We would love to hear from you!
Blessings,
Janet

What encourages you?
Dear Ladies,
In the middle of page 15 of our workbook it asks the following question: "Name 3 reasons why John might easily have lapsed into spiritual despondency while exiled on the island of Patmos."
What are the 3 reasons you gave? (put your answer in the comments section)
Speaking of spiritual despondency, what do you do to encourage yourself when you are feeling despondent? What encourages you? (put your answer in the comments section.)
Hope you are having a blessed day.....I pray for each of you that you will have a spiritually encouraging week!
Blessings,
Janet

How's the Scripture memorization coming along?
We are memorizing Rev. 17:14. I hope you have it on an index card or somewhere that will remind you to memorize this verse. It really sums up the book of Revelation well. Does anyone have any hints on making memorization easier? Anything that works for you? Please let us know. If you don't have a google/blog account, you can always leave a comment as "anonymous." We want to hear from you!
Any new "revelation" so far this week?

What's Your Newest Revelation?
Oh, Ladies....has the Lord given you any new revelations, yet? I realize we just started this study but I want to know what you think. Anything you can share with us? Has God knocked your socks off yet or just spoken through a still, small voice.
The Lord spoke to me today through a new song. The words go something like this: "When I am restless, You are my rest, O God." Isn't that cool? It reminds me of the bible verse in Psalm, chapter 46, verse 10, where it says: "Be still and know that I am God."
Ok, so what about you? What new revelation can you share with us? Remember....we are supposed to ask the Lord to show us something new every day.....
Thanks for coming to Bible Study....I pray you will come back next week!
